I purchase this watch in December 2008 simply based on web photos only. I never did try it on at a store, and if I would have, I probably would not have purchased it.

The Good -

- Decent functionality (switching between cities is not very difficult)
- Great looks, I really do like the look of the watch
- Unique high resolution screen, again, unique

The Bad -

- Difficult to configure
- Night-light glow does not stay lit long enough to scroll through cities
- Thick watch-face

The Ugly -

- Incredibly uncomfortable fit and feel
- Awkward band fastening system
- Watch didn't come with manual (check at the store for this, this was my fault) and the downloadable version available on the Nixon website is useless

It's a well known fact that Nixon makes "trendy" watches and not "high-end" watches. I was well aware of this fact when I purchased it, but the quality, feel and overall end product left much to be desired. I travel internationally monthly, and the concept of the watch caught my eye, but for $150.00 I should have spent my money on a Casio.



The watch comes with a World Time feature. You press the +/- buttons on the front, and it tells you what time it is in various cities around the world. Because I so frequently need to know what time it is in Istanbul and Buenos Aires. Problem is that the +/- buttons are very sensitive, so I am constantly pressing them without knowing it. So when I want to know what time it is, I look at my watch, and it's showing me the time for Tokyo or something. Then I press the bottom-right button twice and it gives shows my time. Doesn't sound so bad, except it happens so often. In conclusion, not the worst watch in the world, but more annoying than a watch needs to be.
